About the Art Studios of Butzon & Bercker
Founded in 1870 as a publishing company, Butzon & Bercker focused its direction in 1920 to producing fine religious art. In 1930, the company started its own woodworking shop where fine hand carved items were made. In 1958 the company established the foundry where products of bronze have been crafted for four decades. Over 80 artists, from blacksmiths to academically learned sculptors, have produced a collection ranging from the smallest pendant to complete church and chapel decoration. In addition to the art studios, 25 master artisans work in the foundry casting, polishing, and finishing the pieces guaranteeing you bronze art of the highest quality.
